Buildings at the National Emergency Training Center

The National Emergency Training Center (NETC) campus in Emmitsburg, Maryland, has 23 buildings dedicated to training for National Fire Academy (NFA) and Emergency Management Institute (EMI) students, staff offices and facilities management.

A 3-story brick structure that has the charm of the old architecture. It consists of 65 dormitory rooms and a convenience shop in the basement.

Building N

Designed by the English-born architect E.G. Lind (1829 to 1909), this building is an example of Second Empire Style and is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings. It houses USFA offices, EMI offices, the USFA Publications Center and the NETC Library.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, the chapel is the oldest building on campus. It houses staff from the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
